Founded on December 22, 1870, the Santos Commercial Association is a technical and advisory body of the Federal Government (Decree 7,770, of September 2, 1941), being known as the Businessman's House. Its mission is to develop businesses and find uniform and sustainable solutions for business issues in the region.
Structured in Sectorial Chambers, which bring together companies and entities by economic activity of greatest interest, ACS provides numerous services to its membership and is a protagonist in the main actions aimed at the social and economic development of the region and the country.
In 2007, ACS was elected the Reference Commercial Association of the Southeast Region, an award offered by the Confederation of Commercial Associations of Brazil (CACB).
The Santos Commercial Association participates in numerous entities linked to the municipalities of Santos and the region, the governments of the State of São Paulo and the Union, as well as public and private institutions.
